Happy Tuesday to ya! Got a bunch of new releases, both in DVD/Blu-Ray, and albums today. And don’t forget at 7:40 this morning, I’m giving away a four pack of passes to the advance screening of “Kick Ass 2” starring Chloe Grace Mortez, Jim Carrey, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Christopher Mintz-Plasses (aka McLovin), on Tuesday, August 13th at Consolidated Ward Theatres.
Here’s the latest on some storms coming our way ... Henriette is now a hurricane, according to the National Hurricane Center, which also reported that Gil intensified late Monday and became a tropical storm once again with 40 mile per hour winds. Forecasters said Gil is located about 1,035 miles east-southeast of Hilo and was moving west at about nine miles per hour and is expected to gradually strengthen over the next few days.
Meanwhile, Henriette is about 1,630 miles east-southeast of Hawaii, moving to the west-northwest at ten miles per hour. At this time, neither storm is a threat to land but you can keep tabs on them throughout the day by clicking the storm tracker tab on the KPOI Facebook page.
And more changes on Facebook. Doesn’t sound too bad to me, but you know how dramatic people can get about it. If you missed the story, read more [here].
