This week’s Throwback Thursday pick is something I’m sure you’re familiar with if you’ve been stuck with jury duty in the last decade, and I’ll be talking more about it shortly but make sure you listen at 7:40 this morning - to win a pass for two to the “Metallica: Through The Never” movie - in IMAX 3D, starting on September 27th at Regal Signature Theatres and a two-disk copy of their “Metallica: Through The Never” album!
Also coming up this morning is I’m announcing this week’s KPOI Goal line Games winner at 9:20. So listen up, it could be you!
Now for that throwback I talked about. This week’s throwback is a logic-based, number placement puzzle that was sold in the form of paperback books - BEFORE the days of Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja. What am I talking about? Yep - Sudoku Puzzles.
And with the USPS planning on increasing their First-Class mail from 46 cents to 49 cents (see story [here]), I think we should bring back carrier pigeons. Carrier Pigeons would bring new jobs. Poop cleaners and bird trainers.
There's the bonus of being able to roast the pigeon after it delivers your mail. Like a pizza that delivers itself.
