The Walk of Shame is out on DVD today. The film, not this radio show. I don’t think you’d want to watch a four-hour DVD of me talking to myself. I will hit you with more new DVD, Blu-Ray and album titles in Spankin New Tuesday this morning. Then at 7:40, your chance to win a four pack of tickets to the Hana Hou Picture Show Presentation of the The Fifth Element.
Women love shoes. Okay, that’s not really news but check this out, newser.com reported a nationwide survey that says 20% of women in this country admit they're more aroused by new shoes than by their significant others. That’s pretty vague in my opinion. Depends on who their significant other is, right? If you’re guy does his laundry on his washboard abs, something tells me your shoes come after that guy. But if your guy is in sweatpants, watching the Discovery Channel all weekend, then yeah, of course you’d get more excited about your shoes. I think a pair of Keds would give you more arousal. Do they still make Keds? Gotta love those 6 dollar shoes. Read the whole story [here].
Believe it or not, one of the hottest new products about to hit the market is a $200 cup. I know what you’re saying, the only cup you’d pay more than $20 for is the holy grail, but here me out. This is perfect for folks that track their calorie intake every day. Like, say if you made a homemade smoothie, this super cup, called the Vessyl, can detect what you’re drinking and give you a break-down. This cup even knows the difference between Gatorade Cool Blue and Glacier Freeze. C’mon, I don’t think I could tell the difference. This cup won’t be on the market till next year but if you pre-order now, you can get it for just $100. But you might not wanna tell your friends that you’re on a 6-month waiting list for a $100 cup. Sounds a tad crazy. Read the story [here].
So treehugger.com (yes it’s a real website) has reported that a new game is out called Bird Song Hero. It’s like guitar hero with bird songs, bird calling. Bird Song Hero can teach you to recognize 50 different bird songs, and once you've learned them, help you practice your skills so you don't lose them. And out of the 50 bird songs, not one of them is Stairway… denied. It’s too hard, that’s what it is, even for birds. Read the rest of the story [here].
